Hello, I am Chwayita

(I can't even give you pronunciation tips in writing)

Since I can remember I knew I wanted a job in the creative or media space.(I just liked the funner things in life)

First it was interior decorating then it was acting(I just wanted to have fun while being an adult). To be honest I don't know how I got here all I know is that creating memories and bringing visions to life excites me.(Give me the theme or idea and I'm rolling with it)

I have always been the friend or family member with the camera and I would casually take pictures and share them with people when they least expect it and it would bring out the best reactions.....

"OMG where was this!"

"When did you take this? "

"Lets see the rest!"

Photography has always been apart of my life but for some reason I never saw it as a full time thing(I mean why did I not study this in the first place). I studied media and 4 jobs later I realized photography was always following me whether I was doing it on the side(People would invite me to their parties and say "don't forget your camera") or I would involve myself in shoots at my various jobs because sitting at my desk was a big yawn.

I think it was my parents who pushed me to start charging as they saw my potential. I decided to do a photography course which my then boyfriend now husband paid for. My siblings pushed me in all sorts of directions asking me to take pictures and throwing me in the deep end.

It took the birth of my daughter for me to resign from my job and to take this on full time.....

So here we are, you're on my website and looking through my work, why don't you invite me to your event and let me capture you're memories.
